Our Commitment to Privacy

GlobalTradePro is independently developed with privacy-by-design principles. We collect only the data necessary to operate our service, and we give you full control over your data — including the option to deploy entirely on your own infrastructure where no data ever leaves your environment.

What Data We Collect

  • Account & Profile Data: Name, email, company, role — provided during registration.
  • Platform Usage Data: Features accessed, timestamps, IP address — for security and optimization.
  • Trade Content Data: Contracts, orders, supplier lists, and conversation history — owned entirely by you.
  • Payment Data: Processed by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processors; we never store full card numbers.

  • Send service-related notifications (security alerts, billing, updates)
  • Improve product performance and user experience
  • Comply with legal obligations (only when legally required, and with due process)

    • Data Sovereignty & Your Control

    For maximum privacy, choose our On-Premise or Private Cloud deployment. In these modes:

  • Your data resides entirely within your infrastructure or designated private cloud
  • We have zero access to your trade content data
  • You control all backup, retention, and deletion policies
  • Full data export available in standard formats (JSON, CSV, PDF) at any time
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") executed within 30 days of verified request

    • International Data Transfers

    For Cloud SaaS customers, data is processed in regions you select during onboarding. Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) apply for EU→non-EU transfers. For self-hosted customers, no cross-border transfer occurs at all.

    Cookies & Tracking

    We use minimal, first-party cookies for session management and essential functionality. Analytics cookies (if enabled) are anonymized and aggregated. We do not sell or share personal data with third-party advertisers.
